I began my love for Great Danes when I was 8 years old. My family and I were driving though downtown Sacramento when I saw a man with a blue Dane standing between two pick up trucks. I made my parents drive around the block so I could see him again. He was beautiful and I told them that was the dog I wanted. My parents looked at each other in dismay and told me that when I grew up and moved into my own house then I could have a Great Dane. Well my obsession grew and when my husband and I bought a place of our own that is just what we did. Great Danes are wonderful creatures and I cherish every minute with mine. We are a small kennel that has grown from our love of Great Danes. All of our Danes are raised in our home as a part of our family. We specialize in Harlequin and Mantles, and are involved in breeding, showing and public education of the breed. The Morningstars Line is a continuously evolving pursuit of the complete Dane. With our Danes we strive to achieve the unique combination of health, size, temperament, and longevity.
